RSC Dream Team

To mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, our school was invited to join the RSC Dream Team 2016 and take part in a nationwide celebration of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. We have worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company now for many years and were delighted to take part in this special celebration. A group of children from Year 4 and 5 had the exciting opportunity to work on our piece of the play alongside professional actors at Newcastle Theatre Royal. The children performed their piece of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, alongside other schools, at King James Academy and put on an amazing performance.  We are so proud of their hard work and they have all thoroughly enjoyed the experience.  We hope you enjoy watching their performance.
