Following the children's interests, and taking advantage of the many leaves in our garden, we have continued our exploration of leaves this week. We enjoyed reading the wonderful story, Leaf Man, which inspired us with its unique pictures made entirely from leaves. The children were fascinated by the different creations and eagerly set to work designing their own leaf masterpieces. Using their imagination and creativity, they created a variety of leaf animals and people, including a leaf elephant and a leaf horse, to name just a few! It was fantastic to see the children developing their creativity, fine motor skills and appreciation of the natural world through this fun, hands-on activity. We have also been on a musical adventure this week, exploring a range of different instruments and the exciting sounds they can make!
